Directions:
Coming from Melbourne city center, take the chargeable CityLink road, which becomes the Tullamarine Freeway and leads directly to the airport. CityLink toll passes are available from machines near the parking ticket machines on the ground and second floors of the parking garages, as well as online on the Internet (Tel: (03) 13 26 29. Internet: www.transurban.com.au). If you want to avoid tolls, drive on the Western Ring Road.

Public transport – street:
Bus: The SkyBus (Tel: (03) 93 35 28 11; Internet: www.skybus.com.au) runs around the clock every 10-15 minutes during the day and every 30-60 minutes at night between the airport and Southern Cross Station in the city center, with several stops in the city area near hotels (journey time: 20-25 minutes, travel costs: A $ 17.00). Tickets can either be purchased in advance on the operator’s website or directly at the airport ticket counter in front of Terminal 3. From the Southern Cross Station, the Skybus Hotel Shuttle goes to various hotels Mon-Fri 6 a.m.-10 p.m., Sat / Sun 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Tullamarine Bus (Internet: www.tullamarinebus.com.au) offers several connections from the airport to various destinations in Melbourne. Line 478 runs between Moonee Ponds and the airport. Line 479 stops at the airport on its journey between Moonee Ponds and Sunbury. Line 500 also stops at the airport on its journey between Broadmeadows and Sunbury. The SmartBus line 901 runs every 15 minutes during the day, every 30 minutes at night, between the airport and Broadmeadows train station (journey time: 20 minutes, travel costs: A $ 6). Broadmeadows station connects to the metro to Southern Cross station and Flinders Street.

A multi-storey car park (Business Park South) offers direct access to the terminal buildings via a covered pedestrian bridge. A free shuttle bus runs around the clock every 20 minutes between the long-term car park and the terminals.
